I'm 82 and I quit collecting dolls 5 years ago. Could NOT pass up Nana and Michael and the others.

Celebrating over 140 years, Steiff of Germany created the modern Teddy bear in 1902 and remains the most respected Teddy bear maker in the world today. Their quality and innovation have touched generations. The Toy Shoppe is Steiff's Largest US Authorized Dealer and our selection of their wonderful editions is unmatched!
Inspired by the Munich Art Doll movement of the early 20th century, Elisabeth Pongratz's dolls are delicately hand-carved and hand-painted in a simplistic fashion - very similar to dolls by Kathe Kruse and Sasha Morgenthaler - with a sweetness that tugs at your heart. Her basic doll design has remained virtually unchanged in over 40 years, a testament to Elisabeth's timeless artistry.
The Toy Shoppe is proud to be your PAW STORE! We carry the largest selection AND have special, hard-to-find Secret Collection plush characters. Charlotte Morris and her team at Charlie Bears love Teddy bears and it shows. Yet even with all the handwork involved in producing them, Charlie Bears are very affordable and well within reach of every Teddy bear lover or collector. Fresh and appealing designs combine with high standards of production to create a wide range of highly sought after Teddy bears.
In 1930, Gordon Holmes recognized an opportunity to make beautiful soft toys from a special Angora fleece. His wish was to create the very best Teddy bears that would be cherished by children and adults for years. Today, Merrythought is run by the fourth generation of the family in that very same building and is the last remaining British Teddy bear manufacturer!
Established in 1976, John and Susan Wright create amazing limited edition dolls and animals by hand at their workshop in Bennington, Vermont. Their commitment to design, craftsmanship and quality materials has earned them many awards and placed them in a class all their own. Their creations are outstanding - and very limited - as work of this nature cannot be mass produced.
With her Barefoot Children collection in 1986, Annette Himstedt established a bold new direction for doll making. She created "children at play" with bent arms and fingers sculpted in relaxed, natural positions. Because of her immediate and phenomenal success, Annette defined the Realistic Doll Movement of the twentieth century and inspired many artists to follow.
