Personalized Santa And Child
by Mark Dennis

Available EXCLUSIVELY at The Toy Shoppe! For the first time, we are excited to offer our collectors a personalized Mark Dennis masterpiece. Mark will personalize Santa with a portrait sculpt of your child! Mark's level of detail and his sculpting ability are second to none.

Santa and Child is a one-of-a-kind full body sculpt of ProSculpt polymer clay. This Santa is a rare Mark Dennis creation in which he is slightly movable at his joints. Mark has cut notches at all limb joints, allowing Santa to be slightly adjusted to better engage with the child which will go on his lap or bench. Santa measures 12 inches, seated and embodies all the charm and character we've come to expect in a Mark Dennis piece. His face is remarkable with beautiful sculpting, enameled white mountain jade and subtle hand-painted details. His hair is created from sheared wool and gives him that classic Santa look. And, of course, he just wouldn't be Santa without his red and white suit! Santa's costume is created from red micro-corduroy with white faux fur trim. His shoes and belt are handmade from black leather. The overall piece measures approximately 16 inches tall, 6 inches wide and 6 inches from front to back.

Dynamic & Expressive Doll Art By Mark Dennis

Mark DennisMark Dennis attended Mansfield State College and majored in technical theatre. He took a sculpting class in college and found that he tremendously enjoyed the process of molding and shaping various materials with his hands.

Although he worked in various theatrical venues after graduation, Mark realized his greatest creative expression was in sculpting. Mark was always been inspired by the work of classic artists such as Rodin, Maxfield Parish and Leonardo DiVinci. As he sculpted, he enjoyed watching his creations unfold. Mark later managed a bronze foundry as a way to cast his work in bronze. In addition, he has worked in wood and other two dimensional art forms.

Eager to try new things as well as make a living, Mark ventured into landscape design and construction. He discovered that he could create dramatic designs with the natural elements in nature. However, after an injury made landscape work difficult, Mark decided to focus all his efforts on his most beloved art form. He now enjoys expressing his creativity as a full-time sculptor from the comfort of his home in Pennsylvania.
