Hildegard Gunzel's Classic Collection 2012 is something very special. Created with what Hildegard describes as heart's blood, her most spectacular collection to date celebrates her 40th anniversary of dollmaking. Capturing the unique, creative spirit of Hildegard, these exquisite dolls are true expressions of her dedication to tradition and fine craftsmanship.

Claire is a little porcelain girl full of wonderment and charm. Her hand-painted expression is beautifully framed by her brown curly real hair wig. She is 33 inches tall and features gray-green mouth-blown glass eyes. Claire's taffeta hair bows are the perfect complement to her burgundy and gold striped silk taffeta dress. Lovely taffeta roses embellish the bodice and skirt of her dress. Knee-length taffeta trousers, pink tights and black patent leather lace-up boots complete Claire's attire. Claire doesn't go anywhere without her dear friend, a handsome five-way jointed Teddy bear made from antique silk-velvet and designed by Isolde von Malchus especially for this little girl. He wears a neck ruff and three jingle bells on his chest to complement the rich textures and colors of Claire's ensemble.
